The famous designer, The Star Wars: Last Jedi has prepared a collection to celebrate the release and help children who are being treated at the hospital.
Christian Louboutin said about collaboration: “I never expected Disney to invite me about Star Wars, and I was surprised. But I like surprises, and I’m interested in this invitation. At first glance, Star Wars and my universes seemed far apart, but when I saw pictures of the Red Planet Crit, I immediately understood the link and why they were thinking about me. I suddenly thought of strong ideas and images.”
Inspired by the four main female characters, the film Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which is expected to be released on December 15, has been given the names of the characters that were inspired by Louboutin’s signature heels, Rey, Admiral holdo, captain phasma and Rose Tico.
Designed for Rey, the shoe consists of a belt-inspired wrist band that surrounds the body of the character in the film and a transparent top that reflects Jedi abilities and strength. The style is complemented by the blue strute heel, which evokes Rey’s lightsaber.
The shoes of the Amiral Amilyn holding are inspired by burgundy cloak and its strong and ranged character as a natural extension of its costume.
Captain Phasma’s shoes reflect the harsh and authoritarian character of his armor, reminiscent of the curves represented by shiny Silver leather. This is very chic with Louboutin.
Rose Tico represents a technical and engineering-efficient personality with sandals designed by Christian Louboutin. The thick heel with a stiletto in it reflects a shell that protects its resilient soul.
In order to help children who are being treated at the hospital, the Louboutin shoes will be auctioned by December 20, and some of the revenues from the open-up shoes will be donated to Starlight children’s Foundation which will support children in critical illness, in the name of ‘Star Wars: force for change’. Thank You Christian Louboutin!
